NavDesk: An essential part of getting the most from your Navman
The new NavDesk desktop software from Navman is your passport to an enhanced
Navman experience. You can use NavDesk to upload your NavPix™ into Google
Earth™, or find NavPix™ from a database of over 23 million Flickr™
images and transfer them effortlessly onto your Navman.
With NavDesk you can manage your subscriptions (such as the Navman safety samera
database) and seamlessly add or remove maps from your Navman. You can also manage
your custom POI files, helping you make your Navman unique and tailored to your needs.

In addition, using the Mileage Reporter you can export accurate reports of your trips,
mileage and even fuel costs for business expenses.
Finally, using NavDesk you can activate the PIN code lock on your Navman, back up all
your favourite locations, recent trips, avoid areas and settings, and access additional
content and services through the integrated browser, all from the comfort of your PC.

Navman and  share Britain's Best Kept Secrets
Starting 2nd November, Navman is partnering with Times Online to discover Britain’s Best Kept Secrets. In a series of articles which will appear on a dedicated microsite accessible through timesonline.co.uk,
John Cleare, the UK’s most prestigious landscape photographer, will choose nineteen locations that he has photographed over the years. Locations that are not on the obvious map for visiting, but are no less stunning or breathtaking.
As well as NavPix of the nineteen extraordinary locations, Navman and The Times Online will provide details of surrounding attractions such as hotels, restaurants and other tourist spots.

Easy access
Save all the football grounds your team visits in favourite places for easy access
and a no hassle trip to the game.

Crime prevention tip
Don't label your home address as 'HOME' in your favourites - it may lead a thief to
your unoccupied home if your Navman and/or car is stolen.

Check your destinations
Trust your sat nav! Enter all your destinations in plenty of time and check them well
before you start out on the journey, especially when abroad when spellings can trip
you up!

Make full use of the excellent library of 'Points of Interest' to pinpoint your
destination.
